General Club Information:
History:
The Squash Club was formed in the 1990's by Anil Gidwaney, currently the pro at SPAC and ownder of Squash Pro Shop in Evanston. Coach Mark Johnson arrived and the team began competing in the College Squash Association, facing varsity-level programs from across the country. Northwestern's Squash team is one of the best club squash programs in the nation, and-along with winning the Barnaby Award for College Squash's Most Improved Team in 2005-has been ranked in the top 25 college squash team in 2 of the last four years.
Practice schedule, competition schedule:
The Squash Team practices on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday evenings, with challenge matches and conditioning drills on days off from practice. Competitions take place on weekends.

Tryout schedule:
Tryouts are held during the first weeks of the academic year, though people interested in joining mid-season should contact the team captain.
Travel:
The Squash Team travels about 4 weekends per season, typically to the East coast. Every year, the club competes in the Nation Team Tournament held in mid-February.
