General Club Information:

Northwestern University Boxing Club was founded in spring 2006 with the vision of establishing a sense of camaraderie, competitiveness, and fitness.  Undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff of all levels of experience, genders, and weight classes are encouraged to try boxing, as the challenge is much more mental than it is physical.  Aside from learning techniques that are practical for self-defense and competitive fights, members will learn that humility, perseverance, and teamwork are essential for successful training.  The club meets for training during fall, winter, and spring quarters and members have the opportunity to compete against individuals and universities at white collar / amateur venues.

Tryouts: One trial class is scheduled at the beginning of each quarter.  Contact us or check the website for more info.

Dues:
$90 per quarter for basic membership

Practice schedule: Tuesdays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 3:30pm (subject to change each quarter).

Competitions: Amateur matches are scheduled throughout the year-- members licensed by USA Boxing have the opportunity to participate.  A friendly club tournament will take place at the end of each quarter.
