Competitive Diving and Swimming

Developmental Swim Team

The NASA Developmental Team is for swimmers who are fairly new to the field of competitive swimming. Swimmers who have never been on a competitive swim team start at the developmental level. At this level, swimmers will focus on improving the four competitive strokes as well as learning the correct starts and turns used in a swim meet. The majority of the swimmers are between ages 6 and 9 and the team is comprised of approximately 20 swimmers. The Developmental Team is a stepping-stone to the NASA Age Group Swim Team for many swimmers. Weaker swimmers may be advised to complete a lesson program before joining. Any questions contact Andy, NASA Head Coach at (847) 467-NASA.

Payment should be made payable to NASA (it can be included in the payment of meet fees).
